Why I’m Hiking

About 5 million steps through mountains, storms, blisters, and breathtaking views—but this hike is about more than miles.

I’m dedicating every single step to Gracehaven, walking to raise awareness and support for the incredible work they do for young women and children in need.

My heart is with the kids at Gracehaven—kids who have been sex- and labor-trafficked, hurt, and abandoned in ways no child should ever face. Yet when they walk through Gracehaven’s doors, something incredible happens. They are met with love. Real love. The kind that says, “You are safe now. You are valued. You are worth fighting for.”

Gracehaven does not simply take these kids in. They surround them with compassion and help them rebuild their lives piece by piece. Gracehaven also educates businesses, community groups, and schools so more people can recognize the signs of child trafficking and help protect vulnerable youth.
