RAPPEL FOR A CAUSE

No experience needed!

Catch your breath, step up to the edge and rappel 26 stories down the skyscraper at 65 East State St. in the heart of downtown Columbus! The first 114 individuals who raise a minimum of $1,250 will earn a spot to go Over the Edge to End Child Sex- and Labor-Trafficking.

Every year in Ohio young people in all 88 counties of our state are sexually exploited and trafficked. Many more are at risk for exploitation. Many more are at risk for exploitation. * A 2019 University of Cincinnati study found more than 1,000 youth in Ohio had been victims of sex trafficking and thousands more were at risk of being exploited.

Gracehaven (an affiliate of Central Ohio Youth for Christ) is dedicated to serving these survivors — more than 100 each year — with personalized and trauma-informed care both in the community and at the therapeutic residential group home Gracehaven has operated for more than ten years. Staff also provides awareness and prevention education and intervention training for more than 4,000 teens and adults each year.

In the state of Ohio, Gracehaven is the longest-standing provider of specialty care and safe house services for minor survivors of sex- and labor- trafficking and exploitation. Help us bring hope and healing for these young people as we help them move from survivor to thriver.
